MERIT BADGE OPPORTUNITIES
Don't know how to get started on a Merit Badge? We have a page here that explains it all.
- We began working on Rifle Shooting merit badge in February did more requirements at our Wilderness Survivial Campout in February -
completed booklets can be turned in to Mr. Cartledge.
- We began working on Wilderness Survival merit badge in January. Scouts working on Wilderness Survival should bring their
"survival kits" to any Troop Meeting. Contact Mr. Cartledge or Mr. Wagner to see what requirements remain.
- In February we successfully implemented our "phone tree" and carried out an emergency preparedness mobilization drill.
Be Prepared for another drill so that additional scouts can complete these requirements for Emergency Prep. - contact Mr. Wagner for
details.
- Mr. Sudduth continues to offer Golf merit badge - contact him for details.
- Scouts who want to start or complete Communications merit badge can contact Mr. Wagner.
- Scouts with partials in recent merit badges: American Heritage, Aviation, Salesmanship or Snow Sports,
should also contact Mr. Wagner.
- We began Disabilities Awareness in April. If you helped at the Service Project at the Federation Center for the Blind, you have already
completed several requirements. Ask Mr. Wagner for details.
- Scouts with partials in or working on Personal Fitness or First Aid should contact Mrs. Wagner or Dr. Adkins.
- Scouts with partials in or working on Personal Management should contact Mrs. Summers.
- Scouts with partials in or working on Family Life should contact Mrs. Cartledge or Mrs. Wagner.
